Yoseph Ayele
Borderless Africa
Yoseph Ayele is a visionary leader on a mission to create an open and permissionless economy that unlocks the full potential of Africans. He is the founder of Borderless Africa, an initiative aimed at bridging Ethereum values and tools to local Web3 communities. Yoseph also runs magma, a program dedicated to supporting and coordinating exceptional founders building Africa’s economy on-chain. In addition, he leads LAVA, a venture fund that backs startups serving the African market.
Prior to his current endeavors, Yoseph co-founded and ran the Edmund Hillary Fellowship for 8 years, an innovative immigration program that attracted 532 top-tier entrepreneurs and investors to New Zealand. Originally from Ethiopia, Yoseph has lived in six countries across five continents and is a Harvard University graduate.
Yoseph's work is driven by his commitment to fostering innovation and economic growth in Africa through decentralized technologies and Web3 solutions. His initiatives aim to empower local communities and create sustainable economic opportunities on the continent.
